We may reject your application if we determine, in our sole discretion, that your web site and/or services are unsuitable for participation in the program for any reason, or if the content is in any way unlawful, in any way promotes or facilitates unlawful activities, is harmful, threatening, defamatory, distasteful, obscene or otherwise objectionable or in any way infringes intellectual property rights including trade-mark and copyright of National Association or third parties, including but not limited to the use of National Association trade-marks and domain names, or various misspellings of such marks or names in connection with any online course provider domain names.

2. NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS'® Responsibilities

We will be responsible for providing all information necessary to allow you to make the appropriate links from your site to our web site. We will be solely responsible for processing orders for courses or other services offered and fulfilled by the National Association, responding to inquiries of users who have accessed our web site via your link, and for tracking user access. We will provide you with quarterly reports regarding traffic volume from your site. We reserve the right to refuse service to any user at our sole discretion.

3. Your Responsibilities

You agree that you will cooperate fully with the National Association in order to establish and maintain the "links" and to comply with our Linking Agreement. All Provider sites shall display the link in relevant sections of their site. You agree to establish and maintain links in the relevant sections of your site to ensure user access and to actively market and communicate with your constituents (potential customers) to ensure ongoing awareness of the availability of the Courses and to create activity through the links. The links may also be promoted via digital marketing such as email.

You will be solely responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of your site and for all materials that appear on your site. Such responsibilities include the technical operation of your site and all related equipment, creating and posting product reviews, descriptions and references on your site and linking those descriptions to our service offering; the accuracy and propriety of the materials posted on your site; ensuring that materials posted on your site do not violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party and are not libelous or otherwise illegal. We disclaim all liability for all such matters.

You may not purchase products or courses from the National Association for resale or commercial use of any kind. This includes orders for customers or on behalf of customers, or orders for products or courses to be used by you or your friends, relatives or associates in any manner. Such purchases may result (in our sole discretion) in the withholding of Linked User Fees (described below) or the termination of this Agreement. In the event of any change in your e-mail address or mailing address, you will immediately notify us of the change by e-mail at affiliates@learninglibrary.com.

4. Fees

As consideration for your participation in the Online Course Provider Program, you will receive fees based on the following conditions:

A person who uses the link on your web site to reach our web site and make their first purchase of courses, webinars e-books, etc. (Products) and for which we have received full payment (hereinafter a "Linked User") will qualify you for Linked User Fees (see Appendix A) for that purchase and any future purchases of Products made by that Linked User for the duration of this Agreement. Linked User Fees will be based on the aggregate amount actually paid to the National Association by the Linked User for purchases of Products, excluding amounts collected by the National Association for taxes, rebates, and similar charges, amounts due to credit card fraud or bad debt and credits for returned Products. Additionally, the Online Course Providers will not receive any fees, commissions or other consideration for any Products which are not directly sold or fulfilled by the National Association, are trialed and not paid for, or any Products where a fee has not been collected by the National Association. You will not receive Linked User Fees for Products purchased by a person who has previously linked to our web site through another Online Course Provider's web site. If a Linked User has pre-paid for a course and then withdrawn, any Linked User Fee paid to you on account of such a sale will be deducted from your next quarterly payment or, at our discretion, we will send you an invoice for the corresponding refund if there is no subsequent payment owed to you.

5. Payment

Each quarter, when the total Linked User Fees earned and due to you based on Section 4 above exceeds $250, we will send to you a Linked User Fee check for the applicable Linked User Fees (less any applicable taxes required to be withheld by law) and a statement of activity. Such Linked User Fee check and statements will be sent approximately 30 days after the end of each fiscal quarter. Linked User Fee amounts less than $250 will be carried over to the next quarter. All fees will be paid in currency of transaction.

6. Reports

Usage reports will be delivered via e-mail to you by the National Association on a quarterly basis. The form, content and frequency of such reports may vary from time to time at the National Association's sole discretion. Users who purchase Courses through the Online Course Provider Program will be deemed to be customers of the National Association. Accordingly, all of our rules, policies, and procedures concerning users of our web site will apply to those users. We may change our policies at any time. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to present accurate information but we cannot guarantee the availability or price of any of our Courses.

7. Publicity

You may not create, publish, distribute or permit the creation, publication or distribution of any written material that describes or promotes the content or benefits of a particular course without our prior written consent. To obtain such consent, please forward your request in detail to: affiliates@learninglibrary.com .

The term of this Agreement will begin upon our notification to you of acceptance of your Online Course Provider Program application and will end when terminated by either party. Upon the termination of this Agreement for any reason, you will immediately cease use of, and remove from your site, all links to Our Web Site, and all Licensed Materials, and all other materials provided by or on behalf of us to you pursuant hereto or in connection with the Online Course Provider Program. We in turn agree to remove from Our Web Site, all links to your site and all Provider Licensed Materials. FAQ

How Do I Become An Online Course Provider?

  1. Read the Operating Agreement
  2. Complete the online Application form
We typically review registration forms within one to two business days. Upon approval, you will receive a welcome email providing you with instructions to get started building your store and detailed instructions on how to enter and use your secure administrative account.
  3. Create your links
Once your site has been approved, you will receive access to our linking instructions and marketing materials which provide you with fast and easy ways to link to virtually any page on our site or to embed in any communication tool.
  4. Start earning referral fees
Sales generated by your links pay referral fees quarterly.

Does It Cost Anything To Become An Online Course Provider?

No, there are no fees of any kind for applying to and participating in the Online Course Provider Program. There is also no minimum sales requirement and you start earning referral fees from your first transaction.

Do I have to meet sales quotas or performance tiers before I can earn fees?

No. Unlike many other similar programs, we do not require our online course providers to meet sales quotas or performance tiers to earn their fees.

What products qualify for referral fees?

You earn a referral fee on each sale, as long as the customer pays for the item. Each item will be sold to your visitors at the same price offered on our site. Any discount offered to our customers will also apply to customers who follow special links from your site. Because prices fluctuate, we strictly prohibit the practice of online course providers posting price information on their sites.

Do I Need to Include Specific Course Links?

You can create links to the CRD courses that best meet your students' needs. This might include links to each designation and certification, a link to the "All Courses" page, a link to the courses that earn CE credit in your state, a link to the monthly specials, or any combination of these.

For additional support or to discuss the right linking strategy for you, email CRD@realtors.org

Where Can I Feature My Link(s)?

Every site is unique. Incorporate your link(s) into your website in a way that aligns with your style and brand. Additionally, you can highlight a special promotion or features from our site (e.g. monthly specials) and you can embed links in any marketing tool you use to communicate with your audience.

For additional support or to discuss the right linking strategy for you, email CRD@realtors.org

I don't know how to write HTML or use my site development tool. Will you help me?

Even though we won't be able to help you build your website or help you learn HTML, we've made linking to our products quite simple to execute.

How do you track orders coming from my site?

A Provider ID is assigned when your application is approved. When you embed links with your unique ID in your site or any communication tools this tell us which online course provider sent the customer to us and is immediately assigned to you for referral fee tracking. However, it's absolutely imperative you use this ID in all links or we will not know who sent us the customer.

When and how do I get paid?

We will pay you referral fees on a quarterly basis. Approximately 30 days following the end of each calendar quarter (March 31, June 30, September 30, December 31), we will send you a quarterly report and a check for the referral fees on earned products that were purchased during that quarter, less any taxes that we are required by law to withhold. The Operating Agreement states that if the fees payable to you for any calendar quarter are less than $250.00, we will hold those fees until the total amount due is at least $250.00 or (if earlier) until this Agreement is terminated. If a product that generated a referral fee is returned by the customer, we will deduct the corresponding fee from your next quarterly payment. If there is no subsequent payment, we reserve the right to send you a bill for the fee at the end of the following quarter.

Do you have an online reporting feature so that I can keep track of my earnings and traffic?

Yes. Once you've been accepted into the program, you will have access to your secure, administrative provider account. There, you'll be able to view your earnings and traffic reports at any time. These reports not only show you what you earn, they also show you how much and what your customers are buying, which will help you determine what sells from your site.

Does My Website Qualify For The Online Course Provider Program?

Most sites will qualify to participate in the program; however, we may reject sites that we determine are unsuitable. Examples of sites that would NOT qualify for participation include:

  • Sites that promote sexually explicit material
  • Sites that promote violence
  • Sites that promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, national origin, physical disability, sexual orientation, or age
  • Sites that promote illegal activities
  • Sites that violate intellectual property rights

Can I Apply to Become An Online Course Provider More Than Once?

Yes, but only for separate website URLs, which you own.

You may apply for as many IDs as you wish, however, we reserve the right to approve or deny an application. You are responsible for logging in separately for each Provider ID, maintaining correct account information, and monitoring the reports for each one.

I have more than one site. Can I Register All Of Them As Online Course Providers?

You can sign up separately for each site you own. This option will provide you with a separate Provider ID for each site you maintain. For accounting purposes, you will receive a separate check for each account.

Can I participate if I live outside of North America?

Yes, you may become an online course provider if you live outside the United States. All you need to join is a website (or an idea for a website) that does not:

  • Promote sexually explicit materials
  • Promote violence
  • Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
  • Promote illegal activities
  • Violate intellectual property rights

We suggest that you read the complete text of the Operating Agreement before you join. You should also know that referral fees are paid 30 days after the end of each quarter in U.S. dollars or their Canadian equivalents (based on agreement).

Can A Non-Profit Become An Online Course Provider?

Yes, we encourage non-profits to join our program.

Can I take the order on my site and just send the customer and order information to you?

No. Our frequent content and pricing updates are all part of our integrated solution and ensure that your visitors get the most up-to-date information and ordering options available. In addition, a customer's contact and billing information is crucial to our ability to offer integral customer service and educational support.

How can I suggest new courses, content providers/speakers, etc?

Please e-mail your thoughts and ideas to CRD@realtors.org.
